Shooting an editorial at Bon Repos Castle was originally just a crazy idea. Bon Repos is currently one of the absolute TOP wedding venues in the Czech Republic. And we had a feeling that we probably wouldn’t get there right away. But I said to myself: “Why not give it a try.” At first it didn’t look like it, but in the end the owners agreed and we had this beautiful castle all to ourselves for one afternoon!
How do you actually make a classic editorial? You come up with a concept, make a moodboard, and visually adjust everything so that it fits together perfectly. But my team and I went about it a little differently – more human and more realistic. The main concept of our editorial was the love of our real-life couple, but then also simplicity and minimalism.
Iveta and Matt… And their wonderful wedding in Prague’s Salabka, which is both a vineyard and a hotel, but above all a luxurious restaurant and a great place for a wedding.
This was my 2023 with you. Thank you very much for the trust you place in me. I appreciate that. While compiling this video, in which I put not only wedding photos, but also images from all other photo shoots, I was completely moved.
The summer of 2023 was rich in beautifully decorated and elegant weddings. Like that of Veronika and Martina in Prague’s Chateau St. Havel. Everything was elegant and tasteful, but of course the most important part of every wedding was not missing – a good mood.
When I became a full-time wedding photographer, I discovered my passion for the documentary style of photography. The elegance and purity of classic wedding photography is what initially attracted me to this work, yet I also love the approach of well-known reportage photographers.

These two captains just had to have a “captain-like” wedding. Villa St. Tropez in Prague was the perfect venue for these two travellers. I am grateful that Terka and Jirka showed me another charming location for a wedding.
