I. Terms

The Controller operates websites, online services, and other projects on the Internet (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”). During the operation of the Services, the Controller processes personal data.

Personal data are identifiers that the user has provided to the Controller and which, alone or in combination with other identifiers, can identify a specific user (natural person).

The data subject, for the purposes of these Policies, is a user – a natural person whose data are processed by the Controller during the operation of the Services.


Processing of personal data means any act or set of acts systematically carried out in relation to personal data. This includes, in particular, their collection, organization, storage, retrieval, use, arrangement and classification in databases, blocking, and others.

Processing of personal data by the Controller is carried out in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, specifically Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter the “GDPR Regulation”) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.

A processor is a person (natural or legal) appointed by the Controller to process personal data for purposes determined by the Controller.

II. Purpose of personal data processing

1. The purpose of personal data processing is to use the Services provided by the Controller. The legal basis for processing personal data is a concluded contract, order, or given consent by the data subjects.

2. The Controller sends email newsletters only based on a specific consent granted in accordance with Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, for sending email messages (newsletters); such consent, however, does not replace consent for the processing of personal data.

3. The Controller processes personal data to the extent provided by the user and only for the above-mentioned purposes (purchase of goods or services / conclusion of a contract, further use of the Services, and sending information in the form of email newsletters).


III. Retention period of personal data

The Controller retains the provided personal data for the following periods:

In the case of an ongoing contractual relationship, for its duration and for 5 years following its termination (due to potential claims or other rights of the contractual parties).

For 5 years from the last use of the service by the user.

Or until the withdrawal of consent or a similar act by the user, by which the user revokes the Controller’s ability to process their personal data.

IV. Rights of data subjects

The Controller guarantees data subjects the following rights in connection with the processing of personal data, based on the GDPR Regulation:

  1. Data subjects have the right to access their personal data. They also have the right to correct and/or supplement them or have them erased, and they may request restriction of the processing of their personal data, as well as the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making (including profiling).
  2. Data subjects have the right to object to the processing of their personal data.
  3. Data subjects have the right to data portability in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
  4. Data subjects are entitled to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time. To withdraw consent, the Controller recommends using the following contact email: info@sedivyfotograf.cz
  5. Data subjects are entitled to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz), located at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, email posta@uoou.cz, data mailbox qkbaa2n.

V. Final provisions

  1. The Controller uses the following processors for processing data for the above-defined purposes: hosting service provider Websupport (www.websupport.cz), website administrator Tereza Tomanová (webstera.cz).
  2. The Controller reserves the right to change these processors in case of changes on the Controller’s side or legal regulation in this area.
  3. These Personal Data Protection Policies are effective as of 1.8.2023.
