I will never forget this wedding. For me, it was proof that when you spend your day with the right people, not even all-day rain can ruin it.

Another wedding ride through the center of Prague! And I mean that quite literally, because in addition to a luxurious reception at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, Jirka and Verča arranged a ride on a historic tram for their guests.

A steel-gray sky hung over Prague as rain fell all day long — even during their first look in Vrtba Garden (by the way, a first look is something I highly recommend).

But would you say it had a negative impact on the photos?

Quite the opposite! We runners like to say there is no such thing as bad weather for running, only a poorly dressed runner. And as a wedding photographer, I would add that there is no such thing as bad weather for a wedding — only a bride and groom who aren’t in the right mood.

Fortunately, that certainly wasn’t the case with these two globetrotters, who have already traveled a large part of the world together. And from now on, they’ll continue their journeys as husband and wife.
