CZECH-SWEDISH WEDDING STARTED IN COZY HOTELS IN CENTRAL PRAGUE AND CONTINUED IN HAVLÍČKOVY SADY. I DISCOVERED THAT SWEDES REALLY KNOW HOW TO ENJOY A WEDDING.
Elisabet and Sebastian live in Sweden, but Elisabet has a Czech mother, giving her a strong connection to the Czech Republic. Inviting their friends to Prague for a big wedding celebration seemed like the perfect plan.
And it paid off — it was a total hit.
I haven’t seen wedding guests let loose like this in a long time. But in a good way — it was an amazing dance party, and everyone had an absolute blast.
I really loved the overall minimalist approach to the wedding — in the beautiful Grébovka Pavilion, there were just a few wedding decorations, while the venue itself provided the rest. The result was tasteful and everything fit together beautifully.
Just a long table, elegant outfits, great food and drinks, and most importantly, an incredible atmosphere. Elisabet and Sebastian didn’t need anything else to enjoy their day 100%.
Grébovka is great because there are many spots for photos. I have a favorite grotto, as well as a villa in the upper part of the park. We took all the couple portraits in these two locations.
Elisabet and Sebastian asked me to keep it quick because they wanted to get back to their guests. So we split the photoshoot into two short sessions of less than fifteen minutes each.
When a couple shoot is fast-paced, the photos usually feel much more relaxed. The bride and groom were very grateful for the speed.
