The ceremony was incredible. Singer Vivi walked in while singing together with a choir of Italian singers, with whom she had her first and only rehearsal just shortly before the wedding. Even now, I can still hear her voice in my head — the Spanish version of The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel.

The rest of the day was incredibly pleasant, even though in May the temperatures reached around thirty degrees Celsius during the day — the trees around the villa and the lake water helped cool us down a bit. Other highlights of the program included a shared dinner and a party in the style of a “crazy hour.” For a full hour, the wedding guests were tasked with going absolutely wild on the dance floor. And they nailed it — the party was led by the South Americans, but the Czechs definitely kept up. I can’t wait to return to Lake Como again. I can feel that it will happen again very soon.
