Olivka in Grébovka | Family Photoshoot in Prague
EVA AND ALEX ARE ANOTHER IN A SERIES OF CLIENTS WHO RETURNED TO ME AFTER THEIR WEDDING FOR A FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT. SO WE HEADED TO GRÉBOVKA TO PHOTOGRAPH THEIR DAUGHTER OLIVKA.
Olivka took a nap in the car on the way to the photoshoot. In the first shots, you can see that we had to wait a little while for her to wake up. And her parents were clearly a bit nervous about how the whole session would go. Luckily, it didn’t faze me at all, because this is completely normal during a family photoshoot. We just gave Olivka some time to settle in. Meanwhile, I focused on photographing details, but mostly I was reassuring Eva and Alex not to worry at all—it’s totally normal when photographing kids. Everything would turn out just fine in the end.
And that’s exactly what happened in the end. After about half an hour, Olivka finally woke up in a good mood and started playing around just like any young child would. The atmosphere improved, and we all began to enjoy the photoshoot. The photos from Grébovka turned out beautifully—they’re exactly what her parents wanted: spontaneous and natural.
